How to get started with Liberty term deposits

It’s easy to invest with us, just follow the simple steps below. If you need help at any time, you can call us on 0800 003 391 or email invest@libfin.co.nz.

Step 1. The best place to start is the Product Disclosure Statement. This will provide insight into the nitty-gritty of Liberty term deposits.

Step 2. Decide how long you’d like to invest your money for. Remember – you won’t be able to access your money during the term, but the longer you invest, the higher your interest rate.

Step 3. Choose how often you’d like your interest paid. There are a couple of options to suit your needs. You can:

• be paid quarterly for regular income; or

• have interest compounded quarterly for capital growth.

Step 4. Complete and sign the Application Form.  Email this form and a bank statement from your nominated bank account to invest@libfin.co.nz.

Step 5. If this is your first time investing with us, a text will be sent to the mobile number you provided on your application form asking you to verify your NZ Driver License or NZ Passport.

If you do not have a NZ Driver License or NZ Passport, you can download the Certificate of Identity and have an authorised person verify your identity instead. Please email the completed certificate to invest@libfin.co.nz.

Step 6. You’re ready to invest! Transfer your funds to Liberty Financial Limited (BNZ account 02-0100-0622608-002) and be sure to include your surname and initials as the reference.
