Liberty’s Culture and Community team host a series of World Expo events. Team members and external speakers present to the wider company, raising awareness around cultural heritage and traditions that form part of everyday lives of those within our vibrant community. We proudly celebrate Māori Language Week to bolster education around Māori culture.
To help women thrive at Liberty, we have a range of leading initiatives to offer guidance, support, training and resources. We're proud to say 52% of both staff and team leaders identify as women. Our commitment to gender diversity extends to our senior management team, where 30% of positions are held by women. We continue to work toward gender parity across the entire business.
Liberty’s Pride Network helps maintain a safe environment for LGBTQIA+ identifying team members. The network hosts regular workshops, key date celebrations and events for team members, their family and friends. It is a goal for Liberty to continue working toward greater LGBTQIA+ awareness, advocacy and impact.
Liberty organises a regular schedule of guest speakers to share experiences from all walks of life. From sporting stars to health and wellbeing advocates – the presentations are designed to support our team to better understand one another and continue fostering an inclusive community.
