Health and family support

  • When it comes to parental leave, our goal is to create family-friendly arrangements. We offer 13 weeks of paid maternity leave with the option for it to be paid out over a 26-week period. Primary caregivers can access up to 52 weeks of leave, with the option to request a further 52 weeks. We also maintain superannuation contributions for the first 52 weeks leave. To extend our supportive culture, this policy also covers inclusive family leave options such as adoption, surrogacy and foster care.

  • We offer paid leave to employees undergoing fertility treatment, in recognition of the challenges they may face on during this process. We offer five days of paid leave per year for treatments such as embryo transfers. Those supporting a partner going through fertility treatment can also access two days of paid leave.

  • We proudly offer flexible support to members of our team seeking to affirm their gender. We offer up to 10 days of special leave to help support them during their transition or affirmation journey.

  • To help our team members stay healthy, we offer fully-funded vaccinations ahead of the yearly flu season.

  • One of the ways we help our staff stay healthy is by offering confidential health assessments with focuses such as heart health and skin checks. The assessments involve a one-on-one consultation with a qualified health professional.

  • Learning is one of our core values at Liberty, and we encourage all staff to further their learning and development in a wide variety of areas. We also provide support for postgraduate studies and payment of professional membership fees.

Helping staff get financial

  • It’s important to protect what matters to you, which is why we provide staff with access to a range of discounted insurance products. These include home and contents, vehicle, landlord, and travel insurance.

  • Staff can choose to contribute extra to their superannuation fund through salary sacrificing. They can also choose to salary sacrifice work-related equipment purchases.

  • We offer a range of subsidies to help staff improve their health and wellbeing. These include financial contributions towards their private health insurance policy and their gym membership or other eligible wellness subscription.

  • We can help our staff save on vehicle costs through novated leasing agreements. When they choose to salary package with a car, employees can pay part of their vehicle finance and running costs using pre-tax dollars.

  • Liberty employees can claim a five percent discount on desktops, laptop computers, printers and projector equipment from Dell Computers.

  • Our comprehensive onboarding program provides new starters at Liberty the chance to connect with different members of the business. It introduces them to each department to learn its specific roles and functions. The program includes companywide rotations within a few weeks of joining, plus an in-depth three-day induction after six months.
